Here's from the very start with a few notes.
Lots of pieces. I always smile when I see the pilot has one arm off. I just do not see the point of separating it, if they have to, why not have both cut off while they're at it? Anyways, the three pilots all got their arms stitched up.

Searching for photos it seems the instruction isn't far off the interior colors. Only the back cushion on the seats seems to be more greyish than green.
Both cockpit have a few tiny pieces. I haven't gotten very far. Painted the cockpit floor, glued sticks on. There will be a few decals here and there.
Pilots are done painted except for face. I took several pics of pilots and cockpit, but they all got blurred.
So here we are, three hours and an emtpy chess mug later!
What on earth has she been doing for three hours? I don't see many changes!
Well, I was surprised at how fast the time went by. Already 6pm!
Threw a little paint here and there and studied the beginning of the instruction. I really need to keep my tongue in place on these two.
With three weeks before I head off for a well earned holiday there is plenty of time though.
What I don't like is there is a lot of flash (already removed quite a bit at this photo), and too many split parts! In the pic above, to the right are several parts of the fuselage that will be consisting of five parts alone (see instructions), not a problem in itself but it becomes one when they don't fit well together.
Already I can see how there will be huge gaps, inaccuracies and fit problems everywhere. But nothing that can't be fixed. Out with the BIG putty and anger management!
Gonna relax in the bubblebath for a bit.
