That extra effort on stencils was certainly worth it. The GB isn't a foot race.

Lovely build thus far.

I actually enjoy the decal stage, I find it quite therapeutic and am looking forward to all 85 of mine:

Sorry guys - been a bit busy out and about test driving cars recently. Mine died, so I am trying to source a cheap but decent quality replacement - which takes time!

Hah! So having tried out the Ferraris, Maserati and Porsche, you're now back to Skodo, Daihatsu and old Fords? ;-)

I am having to admit defeat here.
On top of having to get a car (and I am now mobile again!) Mrs. Ian is unwell with labyrithitis - you can check the symptoms here - http://www.labyrinthitis.org.uk/page3.htm;
So I am having to be both Dad and Mum to the boys as well as nursemaid to Mrs. Ian on top of working full time.

On a more positive note, Harrys' (the littlest little Ian) Lincolnshire 11+ (Grammar School entrance exam) result arrived Saturday. He achieved an massive 277 with the pass mark being only 220. So it would appear Harry could well be going to Bourne Grammar - ranked 405 in the Financial Times top 1000 secondary schools.
Mrs. Ian and I are very, very proud!

With regards the Phantom - not a lot of changed except the model is now matt.
I intend to finish this as soon as Mrs. Ian is well again.

Sorry to hear Mrs Ian is unwell, please wish her a speedy recovery from me.

I look forward to seeing the F4 finished when you get some bench time.

My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.
