Hi everyone, sorry for the long silence  I have been too busy with real life and couldn't access the internet for a few days.

But I still managed to do some work on my tiger!

Here are a few pics:

I still need to tidy up some of the joins but it finally took shape!

Even though now it looks more like a 'flying banana' than a tiger :ha: :ha: !!!

Hopefully paint and decals will correct this!!!

Thanks for watching.

Cheers,
Eugenio

As yellow as a banana with jaundice  Great work Eugenio and there's some nice looking detail in the wheel bays of this kit.

Thanks for your comments!

Did a little more work on the banana!

rescribed the panel lines that had been lost during sanding:

stuffed some tissue in the openings to protect them during painting:

then I discovered that the inner wing pylons had some strange "horns" that should not be there, so I removed them

Now I have to work on the outer pylons and then maybe I can start painting!

Thanks for watching!

Once again, some nice work going on here. I think that maybe the "horns" on the pylons were supposed to fit around the leading edges of the wings?

Yes, they were.
That was Revell's idea!

But it's not at all like that on the real plane :-D !!
Take a look at these pictures:

D'oh!

Well spotted, Eugenio. You passed the test.
And it just goes to show that -
a) doing your homework pays off
b) the internet is a wonderful resource and is well worth the money you pay to your service provider every month
c) I shouldn't make statements without checking first!

I wasn't saying that you were wrong to remove the horns Eugenio but I was more wondering what was the point of them being there. Obviously you had got it right and I don't know what Revell was thinking

I noticed the rounded blade on your hobby knife? Does that come in useful for cutting around curved shapes?
