A Quick Rescaling

If it goes on or under the wet stuff and doesn't fly, it's in here.

That's an impressive piece of re-scaling, when you first said what you were doing I was a bit sceptical, but I'm now converted, those figures make the scale look right.

Well done keep up the great work.

Thanks lads.
A couple of pictures that may give an idea of were she will be heading when finished.
Mildly surprising how small the American 4-4-0's where when compared with the British trucks.

If the picture below doesn't cause offence, I'm not trying hard enough.

The river boat is going to feature in a dock scene on your model railway layout I presume General. I'm guessing that the Great Western wagons are out of place in what will ostensibly be an American scene, I hope I'm right as I've aready plucked one eye out for offending me and I don't want to lose the other :ha:

More of a landing stage really.
Losing your other eye would be a real pain, I know, I have to live with a pair of Guide dogs. :???:

What's the problem with GW wagons, the USA is in the west, :-D I would have been more offended if you had used Southern Region wagons

I think the American steam engines go from one extreme to the other, the early engines do look small compared to the British equivalent, but is it their size or proportions? is it the large smoke stack on the early American engines that makes the rest of the engine look small?

But when you look at the American "Big Boy" or any of the large diesels they dwarf the British stuff.

The "Big Boy" is on the list of future purchases.
A list I keep well hidden from Lady Rocket.
