If it goes on or under the wet stuff and doesn't fly, it's in here.

1/700thth HMS Hermes (R12) in Falklands fit

Post by Chuck Finley »

Ladies and gentlemen, I present HMS Hermes (R12) as she appeared during the Falklands campaign of 1982. The kit is by Orange Hobby in 1/700th scale. It is a nice kit but be prepared for lots of photo-etch.

Now for my next project, USS Wolverine, one of only two side wheel aircraft carriers. :)
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Nicely done Chuck, the detail looks great and I presume a lot of the etch parts have gone into the cranes and radars. Are you intending to put the model onto a sea base?
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Work is the curse of the modelling classes!
