Airfix 1/400 HMS Victory

If it goes on or under the wet stuff and doesn't fly, it's in here.

Very nicely done!
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Thats very nice.

I just picked one of these up at Home Bargains
I'll have to refer back to this when I come to build it.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

What/where did you use for the ratlines please? A generic etch set I guess; the Atlantic/Peter Hall 1:350 set are the only ones I know of that could vaguely be utilised?

Many thanks for the comments.

Chrism: the ratlines are from Atlantic, 1/350 generic set for square rigger, trimmed to get somewhere near a reasonable fit. Best fit are the main mast lowers

Nice one 8-)
It has been argued that this is close to 1/600, though the mast heights are all over the show
All models are equal. Some models are more equal than others.

Cheers. Yup, there seems to be a body of opinion that it's a re-release of an earlier model, makes no odds to me one way or the other. Yeah the masts are proportionally a mess, doing it again I'd probably cut them up and re-assemble them.
