HMS Warspite 1915 & 1942
HMS Warspite had a long and very successful career seeing action in every theatre of war from Jutland to the D-Day landings, throughout her career she had three major refits and drastically changed her looks every time.
Using the Airfix 1:600 scale, very old but still a nice kit, I have backdated her to 1915 as she would have looked at the time of Jutland with here original twin funnels, the 1942 build is straight out of the box with only the addition of a wood veneer deck set.

My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

An excellent pair of builds, beautifully presented
Best wishes
Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

More great work and you are certainly on a roll with these warship builds. This Warspite pair did indeed attract attention and favourable comments over the SMW weekend.

Well done

Beautiful work.

Thanks for all the encouragement, my foray into ship building was most enjoyable and has taught me extra skills like working with PE and using wire for rigging.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.
