Frog's Shell Coastal Tanker - a build thread
Re: Frog's Shell Coastal Tanker - a build thread
It has come together nicely John. I am getting tempted enough now to almost buy the kit myself.

That really does look good and is a nice change to a warship. The PE additions have made all the difference IMHO.

It got shoved to the back of the bench, but not off it. I am supposed to be rigging things, you'd think I could get in one strand a day

Was this model ever finished? Are there any photos of it?

Embarrassingly, what you see above is still the "unfinished state", although I will say it glares at me from a place to the right of my workbench. Unfortunately, with my health issues, virtually nothing has happened on that bench since a couple GBs I DNF'd in Dec/Jan.
I really should try harder.

What a shame - it was looking so very good. I am currently building one but am missing many of the parts. Your build has been very helpful.

If you think detail pix of an area would help, I’d be happy to do that.

Thanks for the offer - I will bear it in mind if I run into too much trouble.

John,
Congratulations on your sharp, clean build of this rather challenging kit!

Well, mine has been acting as loft insulation for years. Not sure what to do with it. It's not like I could pair it with a Ju 87 and title it 'Peewit'

Cute little tanker. Arguably one of the smallest ones afloat.
