Hobbyboss 1:350th WW1 French Navy Battleship Danton

This has been an on-going project for the last 3 weeks I think; an interesting and involving build but enjoyable none the less.
The rigging is mostly indicative to be honest, and caused me the biggest grief. It was virtually finished when while trimming one length off, I cut through the lower yard on the fore mast  . Being elastic, this caused the rest of the mast to collapse under the unequal pressure and a re-build was needed.....
Other than that, the build although lengthy, was straightforward; the parts are all well moulded, with hardly any flash to be seen and no ejector marks except on undersides/insides so no worries there. I have enjoyed it immensely and feel more confident in starting one of my bigger 1/350 maritime subjects (of which there are one or two lurking in the stash   ).
Paints are all acrylic, applied with le brush hirsute. Weathering by Flory and a matt varnish lightly airbrushed overall to seal it in.

Seconded. I didn't notice the 3 weeks bit in your WW thread. That's pretty amazing going for a 1/350 ship model. 8-)

Thank you for your very (and possibly undeserved) kind words!
I just looked back at my workbench window, and Danton was started 20th April, so 3 weeks and 6 days; evenings only for a couple of hours and from memory we were out/away for at least 6 evenings
