If it goes on or under the wet stuff and doesn't fly, it's in here.

Dragon 1/700 HMS Gloucester

Post by planecrazyman61 »

Recently I've been looking at Reference books and online on the more modern ships that have been in service within the last 30 years and this has given me the interest to start building up a small collection of 1/700 modern warships, with that in mind i started building the type 42 which i bought at a show(with HMS Illustrious ) for £15

no parts have been glued to the deck yet as i'm pondering the masking/painting stage, not to mention the photo etch which is for railings, mast arms and antennas , if anyone wants to impart their wisdom on dealing with the painting and P.E particularly the railings i'd be grateful
thanks craig

The kit looks nice, I built a couple of ship last year for Telford and had to use PE here is the link to my builds http://www.uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=14338
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.
