This has been occupying my bench since 18th August and is now (thankfully) complete....apart from a couple of boats, and all of the amphibious and land vehicles. Paints are a mixture of acrylics from the usual sources, applied by brush and with (mainly) Flory washes and Tamiya Smoke for weathering and general grubbiness. It is a great model to build; detail is superb throughout and the fit was excellent in all respects. The Premium addition of the PE railings, radars and netting etc. really lifts it, although it was a disappointment to find that the railings were only stock lengths and not cut to suit each location as is the case with Trumpeter for instance; not the biggest of problems but annoying none the less. I added a little activity to the flight deck by using some fuse wire as lifting strops for a pallet of material being lifted and adding some fuel drums to the forklift near the bows Oh, and I forgot the anchors....
The hull is 735mm in length so the next job is to make a shelf for it to live on in my office!

That's very well done; your railings are really great -- so nice and neatly square and upright.
I like the variety and display of aircraft and deck stuff, really makes it stand out.

Well if that's the best you can be bothered to do!
(serious opinion= WOW with a capital wuh and lot's of -ow!!!!!).

As I have commented on my workbench window thread, I have some figures somewhere....but I cannot remember which other 1/350 ship box they are in, and I haven't had the chance to have a ferret through the stash to find them yet!
