FNS Daphne S641 1/400scale Heller kit no.1073,
Built 23Mar1981 OOB as FNS S641 Daphne with the "early" bow option and added aerial wires from stretched sprue . Approx 12 years ago (2000) I weathered the model based on pics I have of other sub classes. This was a class of 11 diesel patrol submarines used by the French Navy from 1958 to 1989 (?), exported to several countries also, two French Daphne's were lost.

Very nice. I like the weathering, especially the 'waterline' mark. Looking through some magazines at Dads house, submarines can get very weathered and dirty looking. Good job.
