Here is a build I made from paper and cardstock scratch built useing plans from Abe Taubmans plan service. Scale of model is 1/200 model length 44 inch,s. She is the late great Mauretania the greyhound of the Atlantic and twin sister ship to the Ill fated Lousitania. she is underway ships colors.

Mauretania : The Pride of the Tyne.
She was built just up the road from here. She was certainly one of the best.

For the record, the name of her unfortunate sister ship was the Lusitania (not Lousitania).

I've only just got over the Maryland model and here's another one built out of card and other sundry stuff. This is really fantastic modelling, puts my use of plastic kits to shame!! I shall keep an eye on the ships section more often!
