Revell 1/125 "Ocean Exploration Vessel"

If it goes on or under the wet stuff and doesn't fly, it's in here.

I'm in two minds about weathering ships, if they are full hull on a stand like yours, I think they look better all bright and shinny but if placed on a water base lots of weathering looks good.

So I think you have made the right choice.

Keep up the good work.

I also think you've made the right choice not to weather her Pete, she's looking very smart and I'm sure will look great once final assembly is complete.

It Brilliant Pete. I can't say enough about this build. I stumbled on this kit at my LHS this week and was so tempted to get it BECAUSE of your build. No offense to you but I held my stance on my self imposed buying kits ban and passed, but boy was I tempted. haha

It truly is a magnificent build

Thanks Dirk and Jeff for your
very nice appreciation. It's been
a bit of a chore and I'm pleased
it's finished but it does look quite
good in the old display unit.

That's a great looking model and you should be proud of it. You've even built a helicopter too. ;-)

That's an impressive build for certain! It's been great watching it take shape through your posts, thanks for taking the time to record each stage
Best wishes

Looks great. Just wish this kit had been in 72nd.

Come on Dirk, you know you want it. Maybe you can get the original decals printed.
