Heller 1/400 Colossus Class Carrier Long Term Project

If it goes on or under the wet stuff and doesn't fly, it's in here.

This is their website http://www.larsenal.com/GB/index.php

Click on "catalogue" at the top.

Click on ".l'arsenal" in the blue boxes on the left.

At the top of the page there are search boxes. Pick the small one next to "scale" and open the drop-down menu.

Select 1/400 and click "OK".

The third group of products down are the aircraft.

Correct, I knew this, but there are no Sea Furies and Fireflies. I have their Fulmars and Swordfish for my Illustrious project, and they are very nice, but they don't do the a/c I need now.

Ah, I see Paul. My apologies. I didn't want to teach you how to suck eggs.

I don't suppose you fancy a bit of 1/400th kit bashing? ;-)

No worries, Daz - thanks for the help!

I think I'll be bashing the kit a/c, but I have other ideas as well - I'll post those if they turn out....! ;-)

JSC do card models of warships. This is HMS Victorious. It shows quite a few aircraft on its 1/400th deck.

Currently out of production, but it should be around again and there may be a few out there for sale. It does show how good you could make them.

Find 3 view drawings on the web and copy them into Excel, or paintshop. Reset the sizes and print out. Ideas here.

So many models, so little time.

There is also a HMS Colossus at ecardmodels http://www.ecardmodels.com/index.php/1- ... model.html but it only has a WW2 air group of Corsairs and Barracudas...have searched for other models with post-war aircraft but no joy so far...
