Re: Mary Rose
Nice job.
Although its new, it takes me back to childhood when there were a lot of little sailing ship kits from airfix, Pyro and the like.

They're decals - much easier in 1/400 scale Thanks for the comments

Ayup bobblelink, what are anti boarding nets ? never heard of 'em ! they make the deck look real strange.bobblelink wrote:A very nice job, the anti-boarding nets look very good.
The best thing, is to keep on building. Clap your hands, stamp your feet, wiggle your fingers…

Re: Mary Rose
They were nets attached to a framework constructed above the upper decks which was intended to stop hostile forces boarding the ship when she alongside an enemy ship in action. Unfortunately the nets were responsible for most of the Mary Rose's crew being trapped on the ship when she sank, only those in the masts and rigging survived.feanor wrote:Ayup bobblelink, what are anti boarding nets ? never heard of 'em ! they make the deck look real strange.bobblelink wrote:A very nice job, the anti-boarding nets look very good.
Hope that helps.
