The decals are on now, I normally print my own decals for such things as serials but am currently having printer issues which prevent this at the moment, therefore I have painted them on freehand in order to complete the model for the end of the GB and I will correct this with a pair of decals later. The undercarriage legs are in place with bracing struts and retraction jacks from stretched sprue which also provide the model with antenaes and pitot, also the dinghy carriers are now glued in position. To the right of the model I have placed the freshly vac formed canopies which now need cutting out of the sheet to be trimmed.

Well, it wasn't finished by midnight and I was too tired to continue so it was left until morning. I will re-commence work at 10.00 am to finish it mid-afternoon. It will be a little late but at least will be one out of the pair I had planned to build.

This is how she looked at midnight, so close but no cigar. All that remains to be done is to add the canopy and airscrew, paint the dinghies yellow, complete and fit the scratched turret and weather the model. I will finish this work today and post the gallery shots in my workshop window, adding a link within this post at that time.
