Cheers Shaun, he must have long legs if he walked here.. :ha:

Before brekkie work today was starting to deal with these big propeller things...
Image
Thinking normal circular blur for the tail rotor, and individual clear sections with a blur on them for the main rotor...

Image
To mount the main rotor blurs I've and cut a slit into the end of the hub. Hopefully there'll not be too much droop. Not a good thing droop you know...

Cheers

The decals look superb on the machines and the grillecals (one for the glossary) have worked a treat.

Actually, he's a bit of a shorty Jim :ha:

Oh wow, helicopter rotor blurs, now that will be interesting.

Nice bit of rotor blurring with the airbrush there Jim. How are these helos to be displayed then? on the ground with rotors turning or mounted on a stand hovering above ground?

Sorry Shaun, I was too obtuse. They'll be on sticks in flight.

Got a chance to finish them up this afternoon, so I'll get some piccies after dinner.

Cheers

Thank you Jim, you're very kind. Those two look great and I appreciate the amount of toil that went into them, very well done.

Both look awesome (and not like a hotdog), the Sea Apache though is a real achievement.
