and it's done
Not too horrible for a first attempt at a whirlybird.. although the number of times I knocked bits off until I had my grasp points sorted out!
Look Ma, no tail sitting, thanks to a pair of undernourished Revell NATO pilots
mean looking little sod, isn't it?
now back to rigging the KASKR-2

Re: mmD's Super Cobra
Well done Mike and congrats on being the GB's first past the post. So, the weight of the pilots sorted the tail sit then? maybe they're not so undernourished after all

Re: mmD's Super Cobra
thanks, mate and yes. I'd originally laid my hands on a couple of carrier crew deck chappies (helmets but no masks) and had performed surgery to make them seated but they were just a bit too big (not all 1/72 is created equal) for the cockpit so I invested in the NATO pilots kit and fed them on kebabs for a week. Works treat. Will remember the nose weight next time, though.ShaunW wrote:So, the weight of the pilots sorted the tail sit then? maybe they're not so undernourished after all

Nicely done Mike. I am amazed that those Revell Jet Jockeys are actually heavy enough to stop it tipping! They are so undernourished
It looks like you'll finish 3 kits before my "simple OOB" build is finished!
Cheers
