I think it looks more like a fisherman showing the size of the fish that got away :ha: :ha: :ha:

Tonight I gave it a base coat of tamiya sky and will leave it for 24 hours before I spray the upper surfaces DSG.

Careful...there's a large portion of the world that would take appropriate offence at such implication! ;-)

I have started to decal the fury, I first tried the yellow/red bands but had an alignment problem on the tails and damaged the decal so its back to plan "A" and invasion strips.

When I fitted the invasion stripes I thought at the time they looked slightly to long but just put that down to extra coverage to allow a good join, alas that's not the case, I just discovered they had two different locations for the stripes and you guessed it I got it wrong.

I have fitted them in the latter position out board of the wing fold which means removing the stripes from the ailerons and fudging the underwing serial letters.

On the early stripes they part covered serial codes but on the later they painted around the serials.

These problems have slowed me down so I don't think I will have this finished on time I will try but I don't want to rush it just for the GB

Oui! Ca, c'est la plus grande calomnie de la guerre! La France seulement admis la défaite quand la situation était désespérée. Avoir la gratitude pour la Manche... ;-)
