Timet10 Special Hobby FB11

I am going to attempt to build the Special Hobby Sea fury

Box shot

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago on an impulse

Here is the sprue shot. As with most short run kits the parts are attached by thick sprue gates, and there are few locating pins moulded on to the parts, but the overall quality looks good.

The kit has some resin parts and a pair of Vac form canopies. The decals look to be of good quality.

The big disappointment with this kit is the lack of underwing stores such as rockets or bombs. This kit will be a bit of a departure for me as it is the first time that I have built a kit with vacform canopies, or this quantity of resin parts.

I should be able to get my teeth into this kit early next week when my next set of shifts finishes.

Cheers

Colin

That looks like a nice kit Colin. What decals will you be using?

Yeah! I glad to see someone is doing the SH kit. I really enjoyed this and think it has the edge over the Trumpy kit, there is a link to my build in the Resources section.
