Not really. Getting some fiddly bits painted. Got the HSS coat on - Testors Metallizer Aluminum - thena coat fo Future this evening in prep for decals. Not much point to a photo at the moment.

Re: Paul Bradley's Postwar Auxiliary
I'm planning on getting decals on tonight - that'll be photo-worthy.
And at the moment, I don't trust photobucket.....

Re: Paul Bradley's Postwar Auxiliary
...and we're back. Sorry, I was ill on Wednesday and we went to a friends' house for Thanksgiving yesterday. Luckily, it wasn't the other way around...
Anyways, some progress!!
Got the litle bugger on its legs, and decalled. The Freightdog decals behaved very well, but they are a little brittle when dry - the fin flashes splintered a bit when I tried to trim them, so I'll have to touch up with paint.
Now, I need to add a little wash, add the wheels and doors, exhausts, and canopy - should be able to do most of that today and finish up over the weekend.

Re: Paul Bradley's Postwar Auxiliary
One thing I forgot to mention at the start of the build was that I think the wheels are much too small. I checked with other Spitfire kits in my possession and this seemed to confirm it, so I'll be replacing the kit ones with some from my spares box - I have no idea what kit they came from originally. Here's the difference:
I also re-shaped the prop blades a bit.
(During the recent photobucket woes, this photo was not uploaded and I just found it again... )

Re: Paul Bradley's Postwar Auxiliary **FINISHED**
Finished! My first completion since March.....
Not brilliant, just adequate, but it got me back at the bench and into the swing of things again. The wash is a bit rough - lack of practise.
More photos in the Completion Gallery.

Re: Paul Bradley's Postwar Auxiliary **FINISHED**
Just checked my wheels against a number of different spitfire wheels in my spares box- they are all the same size and bigger than the Heller kit. Will fit Airfix wheels to this I think.
