I think he's waiting for his iron to heat up..
Re: Jeff "waffles" a Belgium Spit
Well, I could start tonight and still "blitz" it. I understand that prop and canopy will be winging this way tomorrow no doubt.
I can strike while the iron is hot.

We are off and running.
First lets get rid of those pesky fuselage warps.

Is that the Matchbox trenchers tool?
But it doesn't look like your iron is hot enough yet...

Well that's one way of adding surface detail but I don't think maple syrup is really appropriate for glue.
Looking forward to your blitz!

Haven't decided on topping yet. Let's see Belgium Waffles in the States means whipped topping and strawberries but I prefer real butter and maple syrup.
So, busy morning. Also found out that I needed a seat, so into the spares bin I go again. As I recall this was one of those "vendor's specials" from a show.
And today is calling for heavy snow and high winds. The gales of November come callin'. Good day to spend building a model.

So after a couple of hours on this project, it is looking pretty good. The port wing root was nice and snug but the starboard had a little gap.
Time for a short break. We have had three-four inches of snow since first light this morning and supposed to get about that much more before dark.
A Spit on skis.........what a great whif.

Seam lines cleaned up and preparing for the primer coat.
Peak wind gusts right now at 45mph. Not much snow but it is being moved around a bit.
