Thanks Jim  you're right. I've already acquired a Rareplanes Fairey Fulmar and an Aeroclub Spitfire XIV conversion to continue my new found enjoyment of Vacs. I'll be after a couple more of these Whirlybirds kits too from various shows this year.

It's looks great so rushing to get her finished may tarnish the great work you've done. Be sure to show us her when you get her finished.

I will James, I'll do a few shots this evening to show just how close I came. Fair to say that I've been over-ambitious with my build choices for this GB, trying a lot of things that I've never done before. But although I'm disappointed not to finish a GB for the first time :frown: I am very pleased with the new skills I've practised :)

So win some, lose some!

So this is where I got to with the Seagull:

The only bits left to add physically are the wheels, U/C doors and the contra-prop, all of which are ready to go on. The airframe is complete with a little more paint needed on the floats then a good decalling session. I'll be finishing this on my workbench thread and keep an eye out for it on the CC Sig tables throughout the year as a What-If, it was designed for ASR work after all!
