Decided to add the HF aerial, made from black painted fishing line secured with PVA glue:

I am still undecided on using a wash to bring out the panel lines..... :???:

I still remain undecided about panel line washes Chip, but I've seen other modellers on here get really good results. Using washes on tanks and soft skins I have no problem with, but for some reason I have a block about doing it to aircraft!

The Zero didn't look right without a slight panel wash. It was the first time I'd done one for yonks :)

With or without a wash, that turned out really well. That paper paint masks did the job.

Spitfires look mighty fine wearing red stars. :lol:
