only the canopy frames and exhausts to sort out and this one will be finished.

I see my LMS has the new F51-D in stock £7.50 with two choice of markings.

Good new I have just picked up the new Airfix F-51D and it comes with an extra sprue with bombs/rockets and the correct Prop.

You get two sets of markings :

12th Fighter Bomber Sqdn 18th Fight Bomber Group, Korea 1952 (Silver with yellow wing tips and sharks mouth)

Escuadron de Caza, Fuerza Aerea Dominicana, San Isidora, Republique Dominicaine (Dominican Republic) 1984 ( Green/Brown over white)

I have this in the stash myself along with an Aeroproducts propeller from the old tool kit for a planned theme build of RAF Mustangs.

Thanks for all the comments I really have enjoyed this build, the kt is so easy to build.

The only downside to the kit is the wrong prop but give Airfix their due they have sorted it in the new F-51D. The panel lines are still slightly to big but if you use a hairy stick they should just disappear. I have gone for slight post shading and have not done a panel wash.

I will take the final photos tomorrow when the sun comes up.

Thanks again for your support it has been a great GB and one of my favourite builds.
