Re: Secret Santa Chat
As usual, I'll give you all a head start, but still finish first . . .

Was wondering the same thing 15 builds which means either someone has missed out or there is more to chime in.Brickie wrote:Who's left to check in then?

I went back through the original threads and my PMs - although 16 people indicated 'Yes' in the Poll, only 15 people sent me addresses, so this is correct - we are not running one man short.

How does a Secret Santa work with odd numbers if you need two people to give gifts to each other?PaulBradley wrote:I went back through the original threads and my PMs - although 16 people indicated 'Yes' in the Poll, only 15 people sent me addresses, so this is correct - we are not running one man short.

Doesn't matter, if it is random. It's only if there are pairs that it wouldn't work.

Re: Secret Santa Chat
Another way to check - anyone here send a kit to someone who hasn't started a thread? If so, please PM them directly rather than potentially embarassing them here...

So, three weeks left in the build. Some of us are cracking along, others are lagging a bit (including me!). Let's remember the spirit of Christmas and in which these kits were given to us and make a real effort to finish these within the deadline!

I'll do me best, Paul. I'm enjoying the Tempest. But it does seem a bit quiet around here . . . too many mince pies?PaulBradley wrote:So, three weeks left in the build. Re: Secret Santa Chat
Too many group builds, I think....partly our fault of course, bringing this one in a bit late in the day. Still, nearly three weeks left and I know I can finish with that much time left.

I will be recovered from my injuries by tomorrow so I hope to crack on with the lovely crusader that Santa gave me.

Yup, get well soon, OT! later you can fill us in on how exactly you ended up under a falling mirror (this is a family site so I'll leave it there.. )Martin R wrote:O_TOld_Tonto wrote:I will be recovered from my injuries by tomorrow so I hope to crack on with the lovely crusader that Santa gave me.

I agree with the above sentiments: even though we're in the middle of a whole pile of GBs (and Lord knows, I'm signed up to most of them) this one should take priority above all else: someone went to the trouble of picking a kit for you and then sending it, sometimes from the other side of the world, braving Christmas queues in Post Offices and ruinous Postal Charges..
So the least we can do is to "Get It Done, Son"
