Thanks fellas! It's your feedback that keeps me motivated.

Not much to report. Primed with Tamiya Lacquer primer in a can - first time I've used this and I'm quite impressed. It levels out nicely and dries to an almost satin finish.

Looks like the super glue filler worked (with a few minor exceptions!).

As soon as that's hardened, I'll hit it with some colour.

Finally an update!

My apologies gentlemen, Life has got the better of me lately!

Anyhow, a quick update today - main paint done, decals next...

As you can see, I've snapped the refuelling probe in half whilst painting.
Not only breaking it, it stuck in the wet paint on the nose for about 30 seconds before I noticed!

So the nose has been resanded and resprayed. I'll stick the probe back at the end of the build...

It's a long weekend here (Australia Day), so I think I'm still ok for the deadline (barring any more ham-fistedness on my part!).

Just noticed one of the tiny hinge arms on the main canopy has gone awol . Bah humbug!

Hi fellas,

getting there... I'll do some more decalling today, then washes, then a satin coat and I'm just about done.

Of course that's after I remove that sensor from in front of the cockpit so I can lay down the anti-glare decal (why not make it a separate part Mr Airfix???).
