Saxon's SSGB - Airfix BF-110E 1/72 new tool - DONE!!

What did your Secret Santa send you this Christmas? Have you been naughty or nice? Did you get a Trumpeter 1/48 Lump of Coal, or a nice old Airfix classic? Your builds should be chronicled here, starting Decmber 25th (ho, ho, ho!) and lasting through January 31st. Admins: Brickie and Paul Bradley

Saxon's SSGB - Airfix BF-110E 1/72 new tool - DONE!!

Post by Saxon »

My S.S sent me the new tooling Airfix BF-110E a subject under represented in my collection/stash so was a nice bonus and in desert colours which is one of my obsessions theatre wise. Will be building out of the box in the top colour scheme option shown below.

So here is where we start...

You get an attachment sprue with the E parts so it seems you can also build the C version

You've posted the HTML tags instead of the IMG ones. The Christmas Cheer must be flowing Down Under... :ha:

Looking forward to this. Am tempted to get this kit myself.

All the best.

Cockpit built and painted, figures painted, normally don't do the crew but my recent Airfix Albatross has reignited my interest in painting and using the crew.

This is where I am currently at, thinking about displaying it in flight on an Airfix stand.

In flight would look great. Very sleek looking aircraft a 110.

It's going together quickly.
