Saxon's SSGB - Airfix BF-110E 1/72 new tool - DONE!!

What did your Secret Santa send you this Christmas? Have you been naughty or nice? Did you get a Trumpeter 1/48 Lump of Coal, or a nice old Airfix classic? Your builds should be chronicled here, starting Decmber 25th (ho, ho, ho!) and lasting through January 31st. Admins: Brickie and Paul Bradley

That is looking very fine Saxon.

I don't envy you that canopy frame job. I have a stalled He-111 build with the same issues. I can never get clean lines. Yours looks pretty good from here.

Thanks for all your comments, especially on the panel framings, never used tape before so it was something different.

And yes it does stand out amongst the grey jets!

DONE!!

First build for the year as well!

Thanks Paul it was a good build too, I like deep panel lines Airfix have gone with as well, saves having to try and define details.

Great work Saxon, I'm very tempted to get one of these myself.

Thanks for your comments Old Tonto

Narayan- I recommend the kit if you are wanting one, an easy build which comes up nice.

You can't ask much more than that. I have the 110C sitting on my shelf, I may see if I can fit it in this year. 8-)

Nice build. Got one in the stash but thinking of whiffing it with Japanese markings.
