Re: Brickie's Storch
The Eduard etch set gave me the sidewall detail, seatbelts, IP and some of the spindly framey bits, as well as the bracket around the bottom of the seat.
There's also internal framing for the cockpit and a whole mess of wing detail including mass-balancers, actuator rods and the prongs to mount the front slat. It's a pretty good set actually.
I've taken some more photos but haven't had time to upload them yet.

Re: Brickie's Storch
OK, here's the deal so far...
A cockpit canopy - with the glazing being such a feature of this type, I sprung for some pre-cut Eduard masks for a change.
The other way up, showing the PE framing. Bit out of focus, but you get the idea.
The assembled fuselage with dry-fitted glazing. The tail-stabiliser struts are also PE.
Here's what the Eduard instructions said about the wings:
And here's one done and one untouched (with the kit mass-balancers dry-fitted for comparison)

Surprised you've still got your sanity... Kudos to you for persevering with all those microscopic bits!

It's getting there. The decals are rubbish, but luckily there's not too many of them...

And I'm calling this finished too. Needs a little touching up in places, and like the Spitfire, a better photo in daylight, but that won't happen until the weekend.

Again, good choice of kit from Secret Santa there and I may well pick up another at some point. Perhaps the boxing that contains the Kubelwagen as a bonus.

Nice model, but the snow on the base is too regular.....

Re: Brickie's Storch
Nice work Brickie, I have a part finished Storch on my bench in Swiss markings, you build might just spur me on to finishing it.
