Italeri 1/48 Arado Ar 196 A **DONE**

What did your Secret Santa send you this Christmas? Have you been naughty or nice? Did you get a Trumpeter 1/48 Lump of Coal, or a nice old Airfix classic? Your builds should be chronicled here, starting Decmber 25th (ho, ho, ho!) and lasting through January 31st. Admins: Brickie and Paul Bradley

Thanks Adrian. When I have my own office again for modelling I'll start using an airbrush again. I've only tried it a couple of times but was pleased with the results.

This one will be getting some Klear applied today with a view to starting the decals tomorrow.

A big thank you to my Secret Santa. I have thoroughly enjoyed this build. The kit went together without any hassle.

Like the ad "I can't believe thats brush-painted" :-D You really nailed this one.

Outstanding result Narayan! German floatplanes are not something I normally take an interest in, but yours is a wonderful and inspiring effort - you and your SS should be justly proud!

Adrian

Thanks Adrian. I've never tackled a German floatplane before. Or any floatplane for that matter! But I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
