Well I've done a Tamiya Sherman Firefly and this Kettenkrad, and they were both excellent builds. :)

The snag is that the choice is much less than you'd get in 1/35. Figures, in particular are harder to come by. On the other hand, they take up less room than 1/35.

One snag over here is that Tamiya are relatively overpriced, so they definitely count as "Special Treat" kits for me (the Firefly was a birthday present).
