Decided to do it in the second optional scheme - the Western desert clipped wing spit with the smaller air filter (the box art has a full-wing one on Malta with the big bulky filter.
All went together well, couple of slight fit issues but nothing some filling and sanding won't cure, and a missing tail piece now replaced in double-quick time courtesy of Lancfan and the Royal Mail...
I must admit that the shadow of the gun barrel on that last shot had me stumped for a minute - it looked like you had a double barrelled cannon in the wing. Once I put my glasses on, everything became clear.
