This is the page for reference sources to full size armour and small Scale Armour modelling. I will record their details here at the top to make the task of finding them easy, if you find a new source please post them in this thread and I will copy the link or details into this top post.

Internet reference links:
The oldest headache of them all to armour modellers is finding the correct colour to use and this page solves many problems.
'British Vehicle Camouflage, 1939-45'

'Landships' The most useful site for WW1 modelling, full of plans and info. This site currently seems to be dead due to a "billing issue". http://www.landships.freeservers.com/;

Printed references:
The old Bellona series of hand books and booklets included 1/76 scale plans of many vehicles and AFVs. Long out of print, they can be found S/H from specialist sources.

For concise histories of a wide range of subjects the old Profile booklets are great and can still be found S/H from specialist sources.

The Bradford plans books include plans to a number of scales and are currently available.

The Osprey Vanguard series of monographs are also very useful histories of a wide range of military vehicles/AFVs with plenty of illustrations often including a colour cutaway and are still available.
