Looking very good -- and I agree it's great to see all 14 wheels touching.

Looks like I am down to decals and adding the leverage cables for the ramps. It would not look right without them.

This beastie really pushed my modelling ability. Corollating written word with exploded drawing and no part numbers tasked me big time. Well, Ok. I am just spoilled by all the Tamigawa shake and bake kits so I have lost my skills.

The "official" part of the build is over.

The decals (all 5 of them) disinegrated in the water. After seeing several photos of unmarked Scammells, I did not get worked up about it.

Now the cargo: They only kit I had to keep within my theme was the ESCI PzJg I wit PAK 40. And I think that was 72nd scale. Anyway, here is what that part of the construction looks like.

There is nothing like tasking your model building skills to the limit. Because when it is done you really feel pretty good. While it is not perfect it looks fine to me.

That looks great jeff, tank transporters and other support vehicles often get overlooked but add extra depth to any AFV collection.

Very nice, Jeff. Now you need to do a 'proper' tank to go with it!

Great job on the Scammell. I've made one before and I couldn't get all the wheels to touch the ground.
I know how fragile that front axle can be also. I like it.

Thanks Paul. I have a Sherman on order.

Right now it will be "hands off, captured" thing.

It may not be perfect, Jeff. But I am struggling to see where it isn't. That's a great job!

I was not previously aware of this kit but I like this subject, it's and interesting looking vehicle and has a lot more character than the MB Tank transporter. Nice work.

Excellent work Jeff, the Scammell is a very charismatic vehicle.
