Thanks, guys, for those comments...even knowing all the construction flaws and errors, it passes the paper modelling 'three foot' rule from most directions, even when I put my glasses back on. I contemplated tossing it in the bin and doing it again but only briefly: as my only completion in a number of years, it will be going on the shelf for all to see...
