I have managed to get a couple of coats of green on:

and have painted the Soldiery (figure) to go on the top.

After quite a bit of searching around I have been stumped for replacement tracks, so I will have to go with the supplied bands for now, and hope to replace them later on.

Tracks on as best as they will fit, they were too short so I have hidden the gap under the front mudguard, and a bit of detail painting:

Decals are from the spares box, next up some weathering and final small details that I am scratch building to make it more lifelike.

Very nice so far!

Fujimi (and Nitto) tracks always were too short. I remember fighting tooth and nail with the tracks on a Fujimi Hetzer that kept breaking off the idler.

I recently had the same problem with the tracks on a Panzer 3, unusually this was from Dragon. I'm now looking for a suitable donor kit to replace them as they both snapped in several places when I tried to stretch them.
I wish, that I knew what was doing!

Looks great. Now don't go and spoil it with the scratchbuilding and weathering.

Not being one to go overboard, I only added a wooden pole used for crossing ditches, and a tow cable as per most of the pictures I have found:

The weathering looks a bit too red in the pictures, but it is a trick of the flash, and looks much better in natural light.

Apart from the track dilemma (which will get replaced one day, honest) and trying to decipher the instructions, this has been a really enjoyable build.

Thanks to David (Lancfan) for suggesting this GB, and for looking after us through the build.

That looks great Chip, tracks are the bain of the armour modellers' life, if they would retool the tracks many 1/76 and 1/72 scale AFV kits could be relifed for sale for years to come.

That looks lovely. Seeing yours makes me think I overdid the weathering on my DUKW.
