The Spit's looking good.

I've had a few tins of Humbrol paint like that recently, so thin they're more like water colours. :frown:

Thanks...the plane is actually finished now and I'm making the beaching gear before the final shots.

That's it, I'm done now. Scratchbuilt beaaching gear, canopy from a Heller mk V. An interesting addition to my growing Spitfire collection.

I somehow doubt anyone it going to believe that is the PM kit without seeing this thread. Another masterstroke Barry.

Stunning. I keep looking at the beautiful colors, smooth paint and overall excellent result. I do like your open cockpit.
And it's nice to see a floating Spit for once.

Thanks....You know, for a short lived little project this one was, it amazing how much variety there is to be modeled: The very early mk I, the several configurations of the mk V and then the mk IX's.
