Saxon's last minute SU-15F 1/72 **Completed Comrades!**

Post by Saxon »

Got ticked off with the Fokker D21, still wanted to do a PM kit from the stash though so picked the SU-15. So here is my semi blitz build...

I can see I have to sand the tail plane a little has a seam line and I am going to give myself a break on the anti glare panel which is a curved shape, either going to miss it altogether or simplify it. Doing well though for one day I think

We are allowed to extend this Gb to sunday 3rd Feb so don't worry, don't spoil it by rushing.

Ok the time might be needed, still keen on finishing it by tomorrow night though. I have done some more work on it tonight, I didn't like the way the missiles looked on it they seem overly large and didn't fit nicely on the pylons either so took missiles and pylons off. Decided to do the anti glare panel after all. It's a pretty basic kit so with any luck finished pics soon.

Nice one. I'll have to get one of these from work.

All the best.

Thanks for your comments!

Gregers - I recommend the kit, goes together well and is a lot cheaper than the Trumpeter one.

Tonto - I think you could blitz it quite easily, takes a bit of sanding as the pieces are a little crude but there are few pieces and fit isn't an issue but I reckon the missiles are an issue - too big and don't quite fit under the wings.
