My build will be the kit OOB with kit markings. Always had a thing for Von Werra and his escape from Canada.

Jägermeister ("hunt master") is grammatically correct German, as well as an evil alcoholic brew :-D

Cheers (but not with Jägermeister :ha: )

I can't get the dots over the a gents so I decided to start the build anyway.

And build layout with the wings put together.

I like the concept of the separate cowl. Lends itself well to matching photos for a diorama.

But first, some a little history. A quick Google search finds Hauptman Von Werra quite the world traveler.

I read that the cowl on this aircraft was much cleaner than the rest of the plane, suggesting a recent engine change. So a separate piece makes that a bit easier.

Well Jeff, you've jumped the gun by a day or so (I was going to start tomorrow:) ), but that's okay. Press on!

Cheers

This deserves two flags. One for the early start and the other for not telling me we had to drink Jager while building.... No way I have enough Jager to make it all the way through this build... :???: (In a deep baritone voice) TO THE LIQUOR STORE!!!!!

Gee, my bad. But you didn't think I was going to lay around and watch football all day did you? Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I leave myself at the mercy of the court. If you really must know, I got confused with the Small Scale Armor build.

My punishment will be to build two Starfix kits and go and sin no more.

Brakes are on until the official start. Dang, this looks like a Blitzbau kit.
