Enjoy your holiday Simon.

Do I understand this to mean that you haven't taken the kit with you for something to do?

I think my wife may have been in for 20 years if that had happened.

I am back and work has progressed slightly. I am up to that point where many of my builds stall - canopy masking.

I hope you had a good holiday. masking is not my favourite task either.

Welcome back Simon and I too hope that you enjoyed your hols. On this kit I didn't bother masking up the canopy given that it is small and fiddly (I also dislike masking) and painted it freehand, tidying up the paint afterwards with a cocktail stick. The frame lines are quite well defined, which helps!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Are you gonna make some Tiny Tim's Apple Treats? They sound nice.

Considering the temp outside my door is almost zero I find that picture of you, your My-tie and the sun and sand offensive. :ha: :ha: :ha:

I tried to replicate but froze 2 meters from the garage doors. :) My-tie has not been harmed as it was already half way there.

That's an apple sauce jar I keep some PVA in. Should make some hey ? Maybe for the Feb Blitzbau.

But the point is - I HAVE MASKED THE CANOPY !

Sipping exotic drinks in a warm climate, or building a plastic model? Tough choice.Not.

My-tie, pina colada... both good but too sweet and way too girly for my tastes ;-)

Snow, snow and more bloody snow here, so yes I'll swap for drinking long drinks in a sunny clime. Prefer a cold beer though or a nice dry white wine. With pina colada I'd probably misjudge the strength and do something regretful. Hell, that can be fun though!

The canopy is masked - well done, it's a very small fiddly canopy on this model.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.
