I know, by the first image you wanted to convey how good Extra 300 is. :)

After looking at a bunch of 109 and other crash photos I think my bent and twisted props will do just fine

Image

Looking at this photo I can see some touch-up is needed around the carburetor box inlet

Image

I didn't like the way the kit parts for the wing guns looked after they were removed from the tree. I couldn't get the plastic cleaned to my satisfaction up so I tossed them and build new ones from some brass. They look much better IMHO.

Image

Next I turned my attention back to the base where I applied the first level of terrain.

Getting closer to the finish. ;-)

Prop looks very good but the gun barrels appear to be different lengths. I hope it's just the angle.

Nice work on the prop bending - crrrrunch! Maybe the gun barrels are a touch long Dirk.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Work is the curse of the modelling classes!

He's American, they like their guns big... :)

I agree with you about the kit gun barrels Dirk, they don't look quite right somehow, it's the one bit of the kit that could be better, apart from the giant sprue gates of course.

Cheers

That's a great 109, Dirk.
I'm not too sure about the base, though. Sorry.

Nice presnetation, Dirk. Much like a few wartime photos I've seen.

That's what I was going for. I've seen several of those same photos with the aircraft just sitting all alone...

No worries. I feel I could do better but was rushed with the GB deadline. I hope to do better next time. ;-)
