Prehistoric beasties.

Post by B4en »

I found these in a local cheap supermarket (Lidl). They are by an Italian company called Clementoni. The Natural History Museum in London is missing a trick if they don't sell these in the gift shop. I want more.
They are simple press-together kits in bendy plastic, but I think even with no painting look pretty good. A nice touch is the provision of a small bag of plaster of paris so you can also cast a skull up from each blister pack. (Actually I've found ordinary polyfilla or whatever works just as well - I'm casting a few up for birthdays!)

They are really good!
I can remember an old mouse container that you could cast things from but I can't remember what! I think they were animal footprints.....
Best wishes

Thanks! These are quick and fun, apart from waiting for the plaster to set properly. Sadly I don't think they produce a Steg - as far as I can make out from their website I'm only missing their Mammoth.

The casting from a blister pack is such a good idea though, I wish a few AFV model manufacturers would try the same for diorama bases.
