Belated UAMF Group Build CD diorama

Post by gnomemeansgnome »

Based upon the Group Build idea from last year, and inspired by the song 'Junk' from Nomeansno's 1989 album 'The Day Everything Became Isolated and Destroyed'.

Yes, an interesting interpretation and another of the very creative scenes by the members of this GB !!

Excellent Idea: 10 Sky Points (Sky Point)
Excellent execution: 20 Sky Points (Sky Point)
NomeansNo Reference: 1724,691 Sky Points (Sky Points Till Arm Falls Off)

next year: Hanson Brothers "He Looked A Lot Like Tiger Williams" diorama featuring a King Tiger with wings, jets and maybe a naval gun destroying whatever it damn well pleases. Then riding its stick.
Is this your sanderling?.

Ha ha! Yes, and thank you. I can't remember the number of times I have seen them but thought a tribute of sorts was also necessary. I love DOA too but to me Nomeansno is Canada's greatest punk rock export. Not only them, but also the Hansons more than a few times, and their Nomeansramones as well. The perfect cross between Miles Davis and the Ramones, really :D......

Great work we all wondered how you were going to fit a large 1/72 a/c onto a CD.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Heh heh, my trusty pal Mr. Hack McSaw. This carcass gave up its one remaining Jumo engine that stands in as the Japanese Kittyhawk's Allison.
