In my recent purchase of various figures were these 1:72/76
and these 1:32/35 Tommies
Can anyone help identifying which sets and/or manufacturer they are please
Can anyone identify these?
Can anyone identify these?

The lower ones are:
http://www.airfix.com/us-en/wwii-britis ... -1-32.html;
The upper ones - if they are Airfix - are one of the early ones, judging by the rather static poses. No idea which set though....

Thanks Paul, I'm now thinking that the small figures may be a combination of sets

Re: Can anyone identify these?
They look like conversions of the ACW artillery and infantry and some 1st edition Germans.
Re: Can anyone identify these?
I too can see some of the first early set of WW2 German figures in there, but obviously with amendments. The faces and heads of the WW2 Airfix Germans were "bearlike" in a way which gave it away to me.

Here's a close-up of the mounted figure
I'm pretty convinced he's from the Cowboys/Wagon Train, converted with the sword

While the Cowboys and wagon train sets did have a rider in a similar position with arm across body, but: to achieve this pose would require a fair effort on removing stetson hat etc. It would have been easier to get to this by using a figure in the ORIGINAL french foreign legion set - one of them was mostly there for this, and would have just had a slight head/hat modification and position of sword

It looks like the sides have been removed from the hat Chris

In the Foriegn Legion set the rider has his right arm away from his body; in the Cowboy and Wagon Train sets they have a rider with his right arm moulded to his body, just like this one.
Both Cowboy and Wagon Train have a figure identical, as well as a horse.
Which set would be swung if there were more figures from either sets
