Any interest in Marvel or DC Figures here?

Post by IronMan129 »

Hey folks!
I'm a massive fan of things like this, I personally favor Iron Man and my Mrs favors Bat Man.
It just got me wondering is anyone on UAMF interested in these figures?
I have just bought a massive "toy" of Hulkbuster and plan on a repaint to make it into a decent model if anyone is interested in a WIP thread of this let me know.

Also does anyone here have any pics of these figures on display at any shows?

Yes from me, I'm a fan of superhero movies though I was never a big collector of the comics I did read a few and had schholfriends that were very into them but I think some of the repaints are spectacular, like vince vell customs on youtube.
I'd love to see it, especially as Iron Man is a big fave of mine. I painted up a moebius MkIII for my son a few years ago which was a fun build.

Sure, anything that might get me over the barrier and try a large scale figure.

Ahh awesome so there is an interest in these things then!
This thing is huge, seen one a while ago and it stands around 20 inches tall and the same wide!
It was on sale at half price so couldn't refuse!

The problem is that they can be hard to get hold of and only seem to be available for a short time, I would like to have ago at these but currently cannot find the ones I want to build at reasonable cost.

Yes thats very true.
A friend of mine has these things on finance all the time!
He paid £1100 for a Hot Toys Hulkbuster!
They are insanely expensive!
