May I suggest creating a Photobucket account and uploading some images from your computer to there.

Then when you view your album, hover over one of the pics. There will pop up a menu of options - simply left-click on the gobbledegook of code that is the bottom option, labelled 'IMG code.' By clicking on it, you copy it.

Come back to this site, create a new thread, right-click, then paste. The code will magically appear. Simples. I've been doing this for years and never had an issue. I have a bog-standard PC machine running bog-standard Windows S/W and open in bog-standard IE.
