Of course we all now know due to QI that he wasn't short at all and it was all down to how he was portrayed in British cartoons of the time. Interesting to see him in a light coloured coat, what's the story there Ratch?

Hi James, I did a googleimagesearch and portraits of him in brown, blue and grey coats showed up
I think the brown is quite unusual

Are you sure Brews isn't talking about your avatar photo Ratch?!

Lovely job on Napoleon mate; very nice to see him in something other than a grey coat. Do you know if Airfix still have any of the tools for these figures? I am slowly building my collection but they can be a bit pricey on eBay. It would be lovely to see them re-released again - in the new red-boxes, with three paint options for Napoleon on the box front - with Blue, Grey or Brown coats for example... ;-)

I only eventually got the Show Jumper for a reasonable price because it had bits missing that I was confident I could scratch build. The Boy Scout still seems to be prohibitively expensive (and is nowhere near as menacing as the Black Prince anyway!)

Cheers
Al.

Cheers Al, I believe they still have the tools for these. I even suggested they re-release the Showjumper for the 2012 Olympics ;-)
