Airfix Stalingrad Battlefront - COMPLETE

I appear to have volunteered myself to rebuild the first CBKs I built. Well done me!
The first kits I built came as part of the Airfix Stalingrad German Attack Forces set.

I was only 6 or 7 when I got this bought for me by Nanna and Grandad. I remember clearly sitting at their dining table (neatly covered with lots of newspaper) and playing building the Panzer IV and the -109. I used Grandads glue and paints that he used for his model railway.
The Panzer was painted grey and I tried to glue lichen to it. I remember it came off at a later date and it left green patches in the grey, which I thought looked cool! Grandad said that my -109 looked more like the ones he saw than the picture on the box did. At the time I was very,very proud. I did put some paint on the base, some black, grey and brick but the soldiers never got touched.
Painting aside, I lost count how many times the Germans advanced across that piece of plastic! Happy memories.
As that base is not available unless you pay a fortune on Ebay (not an option) I ordered the Cottage Street Scene from Amera. http://amera.co.uk/product.php?range=s;
I already have the -109 but I'll need to get the PzKpfwIV. The little Ians have some German infantry so I'll get the whole lot built, painted and stuck down. Looking forward to this!
